The chrome RF amps with the cover formed around them is killer. The only gripe I would have is that those amps are known to overheat bad.

Molding the amps in was a p.i.t.a., but everybody would do a double take when looking at them.. I liked the effect for sure.
Eric D. It's true that those amps were known to get toasty, but at the same time, these things were barely breaking a sweat. The 250.2 was running 5.25" seperates and the 250.1 was @ 4 ohm. They never once went into thermal even while cruising for hours in the middle of summer down around Atlanta I thought about it when I was designing the amp rack but I had faith the amps would hold up.
I never had either of my 250.2s thermal on me, but I did burn the side of my arm when I leaned against them while getting something out of my trunk after a long ride.
They even started to discolor over time from the intense heat.
