Up to that point, except for the sub box, all me. As for relocating the DD10 I'm just going to check it out, but personnally I like the fack it motorize. Also the box in the picture is about 2-3 inches higher then what it's going to be for real.

As a retired Veteran myself and an actively serving Wife who visits the "sandbox" several times a year, Bless you and thank you for your service.

As an amateur installer myself and an actively supportive Wife who shakes her head at me several times a day, your imagination, patience and dedication are also reflected in this project.

I do concur that the DD10 needs to be shown, but it looks out of place in it's present location. Perhaps under the Powercore and re-locate that block?

Thank you for the kind words and support.

As for the DD10, more and more I look at the pictures, I'm starting to agree with that opinion. So, I'm looking at that option to relocate it under the Powercore. I'll make a trial just for fun to see what it will look like within the next couple days and post pictures for more opinions. Before making the final descision. I'm also looking at one other option but that one is a little bit more complicated, but would look great!!!

Ok, I am going way out on a limb here cause you obviously know what you are doing by the look of things. You are also spending the money to make this project exactly what you want it to be, but... Finally to the point, the power core. With all the bad stories of these leaking and catching on fire, do you really want that in your car? I have never had experience with them but I do like to read a lot on this forum. Don't get me wrong, I understand it's purpose and it looks great right where you have it. The risk is all I am worried about. Not my car but I see the love, time, and money going into this entire vehicle and it just makes me nervous having a dangerously weak link in there. Again though, the car looks incredible and I would love to hear it when complete!

see I thought that even with all the fires and problems from them that everyone on here still loved them no matter what? By problems I mean everything from them just not working to dicking up the vehicles charging system.......

Wow! I over looked this install, How????

Deployment is just a month away, keep your head down and be as safe as you can. Thanks for what you do.

PG all the way man! That's crazy (50 triple H titties) sick. I can't wait to see the finished product. You're taking your time and doing it right and that's a job in itself.

It is the 20's with multiple caps that caught on fire the 15's were fine.

Fabolus install....

I would have mounted the DD10 where 2 of the screens are. The dd10 are way more cool than some screens, IMO.

Very impressive work.

What color is it in the engine bay, it looks like the one I am going for on my BMW CAB...
Selling your Ti9 mids? PM me, please..

I also need a DD10...

I'm all about symmetry, so to me the Ti DD10 would look out of place. I'm looking at some other options, such as relocating it and incorporated into the custom dash or put it where the Ti Powercore 20 is and relocate the Powercore elsewhere due to some concerns I was recently made aware of. But one thing for sure the Ti DD10 will be relocated.

It' a custom color derive from the orange-fire color...hope this help.

do you like yer airbag? I am not sure if you saw where I have my dd5 in my ranger but it had a blank spot behind a cover where the passenger airbag was optional in 97 that was the perfect size to hide that puppy in and great for easy fuse changes.

Well to be honest, the original dash including airbags has been removed so a new dash can be built in his place. This will include the 6 Ti RDDP boxes, Ti Basscube (as shown in the pic) and other things even an Ipad!!! I’m looking at relocating the Ti DD10 on the firewall (feet area) on the passenger side beside the Ti Elite 9”. Still in the early stage of planning... like I mentioned earlier it might go where the Powercore is presently located...all the stories of catching fire and caps leaking has me worried and reconsidering the use of the Powercore. Wrote to PG last night and waiting for the outcome...might even call them and inquire more about it.

Who on here doesnt like tits? THAT is what is ment by the install being "tits"
Everybody loves tits, and you can never get enough. lol

onecrazy95civic wrote: I'm all about symmetry,

A monkey can make something symmetrical, it takes actual talent to create something asymmetrical & appealing to the eyes. & when done right people wont even notice its asymmetrical. Just food for thought, take it as you will.

The layout looks pretty smooth, and I see you have a sort of tier system going on. Power source at the base, Amps in the middle, and sound at the top. I think that is part of why the dd10 looks out of place up top, it is away from everything it relates to. I think it should be moved down toward the lower levels. Perhaps run the powercore & DD10 down on the sides where the distros are, move the crossovers to where the screens are, and work out a real trick display of the distros in the center where the powercore is now to set it off as the heart of the system. Screens are small & stupid easy to tuck away, hide them until you want to show them off. You'll never use them anyway, so no real point in wasting prime real estate on them when the ti Xovers are so much sexier to look at.

Just my $.02
I'd love to have a setup like this.

Who says that the architecture instructors are right in what they say or mean? Just because they have a degree in architecture? (No offence to you here...) What If I took a degree in architecture, and said that symmetry is the real shit? Am I right then, all of a sudden? What visual things we like, is mostly made of people minds - and there are almost just as many opinions as there are minds....

I have seen sooooo many crazylooking buildings all over the world, that is designed by an overpaid architect. I guess they call it nice/modern/new/right or whatever. I do not know, but many times they are very ugly...

I must agree with the symmetry thingy. I HATE when things are out of line, and missing the symmetry.

I can go either way in this subj as long as it flows well.... I am all about smooth and flowing lines. I love it when it is deceptivly simple, when it looks like nothing is there but on closer look there is alot there. I like small details that just seem to draw you in to take a closer look at the big picture. I think this install has both with as getting that much shit to look good is really really hard.....

Whether an Arch instructor says it or not, can you say you know ANYBODY that cannot honestly make something symmetrical? I doubt it, & that is what the point of my post is. Anyone can make something symmetrical. The layout is clean, but I have seen amps spread out like that, distros arranged like that, speakers laid out like that, etc.. many times. Mix it up a little is all I am saying. Symmetry has its place, but it isnt required to have something look good. Look at a cars interior, the dash & center consoles are not symmetrical, hell on many cars even the front door panels are not even symmetrical. (& I bet many dont even notice) A good design is all about proportion & balance, not mirroring everything from side to side, and a well designed asymmetrical setup can score major points in a show for originality.

But it aint my car.

I would also agree with you in regard to many buildings, there are some seriously ugly buildings. Daniel Libeskind is a very prominent Architect, and people either love or absolutely hate his buildings. (I for one am not a fan of his works) Denver Art Museum is a prime example, people have literally gotten sick inside due to the wild interior design, and is a horrible place to show art. How do you hang art on a sloped wall? But look at any building, even your own house. Can you find a symmetrical building? The problem is there is many cases where symmetry is not even an option, so you must learn how to design around that, because people just naturally prefer symmetry.

I’ll agree with you when we talk about building, etc...That asymmetry has its place and will agree with you when it comes to Ti DD10 and is present location that it looks out of place and doesn’t flow. But when it comes to car audio I’ll disagree. Personally for me, symmetry is important; it has to flow, look well place and appealing to the eye. That’s why the Ti DD10 will be relocated, not sure where yet, still working on a few ideas. Hopefully I’ll have that one figure out soon. As for the screens, I love them that is why I’ll have 22 inch screen motorized out of the trunk!!! Anyway, got to back to drawing board with the Ti DD10, flick poo and eat a banana!!! :hurr:
