Well I started the rebuilt of my show project car but will have stop due to my deployment in July for nine months to Afghanistan. I wanted to share with the PG family some pics of what it will look like. I'll have to contract the completion to a well renowned shop (www.phatridecustom.com) here in my home town so when I return I can enjoy the final product. Yep these are the guys who buit the famous Castrol Solstice and the Super Sky.

Let me know what you guys think or if suggestion or recommendation. Is Phoenix Gold doing any sponsorship? Doing such an install doesn't come cheap believe me!!!

reactors are just part of the equation, I was totalling up all the rddp's, fuse block dd10 and that alont would probably cost more then a reactor. Looks damn good man, what kind of finish are you going for, paint or cover?

To answer your question, there will be some trim panels that will be covered in black leather and the other will be match to custom color of the car as per the pic. Also each RDDP's have two digital display. 6 will be installed in the dash and the other 6 will be installed in the rear pillar (3 per side) just beside the Ti 15 subs.

That is definitely a nice start. Too bad you can't finish it yourself. Good luck and stay safe.

That is so nice. Reactor's are still my favorite amp, and it is great seeing them in such a killer installation.

As a veteran- all the respect.
As an install- more respect.

the only part I do not like is the DD10 to be honest. It just does not flow with the rest of the system that seem to have such a sleek look to it, not to mention it covers those cool looking subs.

Are you using the SDT voltage disploy or the rms? I convered my RMD into a quasi-SDT by taking the led out and swaping it for a tri-colored led so that it would also monitor the thermal protecion mode with red/orang/blue led just like the sdt has.

I do have to agree with you on the overall look of the DD10 location in the up position, etc. But I didn't really have any other place to install it. At first I was going to have it motorize somewhere in the dash or have it install where the Ti ground distributor block is. Where would you put it or see it installed?

I'm using the digital display, got 2 per RDDP boxes for a total of 12.

if it came down to hiding it, or using it to hide the subs I would have hidden the DD10 under a seat or something for no other reason then isn't it going to be a bit of bitch to change one of those fuses if/when it blows?

When it comes to hiding the DD10, for me it's not an option. The DD10 is such a beautiful piece of electronics, it has to be shown. As for changing the fuses I can deal with that, regardless of the location. If I get more of the same opinion of yours in regards of the DD10 present location, I'll look at relocating it. To be honest I might do it anyway I just need to sit in the car and see all options and talk to my installer. I appreciate your honesty and comment. Like I say I'm open to any suggestion.

I run DD5's in both of my systems just because I was too cheap to get the 10, I agree it is a cool looking piece. found perfect spot in my ranger to both hide and display it in my ranger but had to hide it in the stang.

If you like it there then don't give my opinion any value as its yer system. I just think it flows beautifully until that piece is stickin up like a tombstone. personally I think I would consider putting it on the floor front and center infront of the ground dist block. That piece you do not need access to and you already have other fused ones to lite up so I think the DD10 in the middle of them would be neat way to put all you power accesories in one spot, easy to access for fuses and it would all be topped of by those beautifull subs

Well you know what, the system is still in the early stage of fabrication so tomorrow I'll move the DD10 to that position and see what it looks like. I'll take pics and post them on the forum for opinions.

man do what makes you happy, don't worry about me. I was just giving some advice, constructive citisism but if you do like it then great! I am just brainstorming ideas as I am sure it took more then a few hours to get all that equipment shoe-horned in there and layed out the way you want it.

Arey you building it yourself? I love build pics.....
