The caps are just hard to see.
I wish I had enough room in my truck for my second roadster but I don't so it will stay in the box until I use it or sell it.

I forgot to mention that the floor was a ping pong table that nobody wanted
So I guess you can say I recycle.

shape doesn't matter nearly as much as long as the airspace is correct and the sizes are the same.

Nice......

Have you done the layout yet.......pic required.
I don't know why but I've always made my base and then traced the amps and whatnot.... Keeps the vision in my mind throughout the build without having to take gear in and out abunch of times..... I'm a nerd....
I was forced to install gear over the nekid wood so the dood could see what it looked like....repeatedly

So I installed t-nuts...worked in the end and looked kool because I used chrome hex caps......
Just an idea for show style....

No I did not do a layout but I am planing on making a rack for the roadster it will bolt to the floor the front of the amp will be 3 inches high and the back will be 5 or 6 I am going to put the back of the amp as close to the seat as I can but still be able to lift up the door to my spare without hitting the seat.
My RSD 300.4 will go in the box under the floor.
8's are in place of the 6X9's I have 2 boxes that I started making a few years age that I will need to get out and finish
I will have 2 RSD65cs on each door I am planing on making a fiberglass box to bolt to the door then cut out the door panel and do some fiberglass and vinyl I just need to find out how big to make the box for each woofer and decide where to put the tweeters.

I got the top part of my sub boxes finished today I just need to find a way to figure out if they are big enough and if and how big I need to make the bottom part.
I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow .

I got a little more done today but it is going slow.
I ran out of wood for my sub boxes so they are on hold till the weekend.

that is a little thick to just fill with putty, what do you have planned?

I'm not sure yet some kind of epoxy I guess.
Maybe cut some strips of plastic first.
I covered the original hole with a piece of a old bumper cover from another civic so I will use more of it.

you could cut some abs and then fill on top of that no problem but if you go with just bondo I am afraid it will crack later. Abs is easy to cut, easy to put together with CA glue and with the CA kicker you can do it even faster.

I got some hardwood floor this week and will be replacing the floor and amp box that I made this is what I got done so far.

ya know I think there are only a few cars that can pull off a classy looking hardwood, range rovers have a great dash with real hard wood and it could work.

I figured the wood should go good with the black amps.

Anybody know how hard is is to remove the cover with the holes so that the plexi is left to show the insides of the amp ?
Or would it look bad?

I got a little closer to getting the dash piece for my alpine finished just needs another coat of paint its a little dull in spots because I ran out.
So just paint and modify the holes in the brachet in the back and I'm done.
This part
This install is taking a long time.
