nissan/infinity pick up (old school)

Post by JK »

i finaly started my install. i droped my truck off a don won's a few weeks ago. he has started the doors. zak and nick want to get started on some glass work. im gona let all of them just do what they want. in each door we went with.
1. 8
2. 6 1/2's
2. tweets
3. 5 1/4's
so far we have it built out with no glass work and put the speakers in to see how it looks. i cut out the back of the cab. don just finished the boot.
we have all the wood cut for the boxes. most of the wire and other stuff are all in hand. i will be posting picts and updates..

ill fix those photos as i go...
for the subs im using 4 L7 15's and 4 12 oz audio. all the mids and highs are oz audio. im putting 2 tweeters up on the sides above the dash.
im wanting to shroud my frank and sofa and put both in the back. i keep getting yelled at about using them in this install and shrouding them.
the rims are asanti 22 inch. after the install im puttin a air ride on it..

it took like 8 months every day to find what i have.. i have extras if they blow. i wanted to go with 12 12's, but it was to hard to collect all of them. i have a ton of wrong 12's and blown ones as well that will not work. im using 4 L7 15's kicker and 4 OZ 12's. u will not c the 15's. only all OZ.

JL w7's are awesome and I prefer the old school round kicker solo's my self. But with the right box and right power you make those L7's sound good.

i went cheap on that part.. well! not really... if u look at all the oz 12's i bought. i have like 6 that wont work. the l7's are 2006's. the chrome ones. i had those ever since then. they are brand new. so i figured use them. i was thinking w6 or w7, but went with the oz look. the 15's will be hidden.
