QXE104 Install HELP!!!

Post by jacobajbrown »

Hey Guys.

I'm looking for info on the QXE104 10" PG sub.

I just bought 2 and found a company that will make me a box for it but i gotta find the following:

-the mounting depth
-air space requirements
-cutout diameter

Please Update as soon as anyone has anyinfo on it.

Thanks a million!!!

Lets start by saying WELCOME TO THE PHORUM.......

Here's a link to the info you need.

Why don't you make your own enclosure? And what amp are you planning to run these with.
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

THANKS!!! :)

I would but I'm not experienced enough.

I'm using a clarion 1550 Watt amp.

I'm having a local shop install it for me. and getting the box custom built from the states

To be honest...........
You'd be happy with a prefab box for 10's IMO as it'll be very close to the required arispace. PLUS you'll save some $$$$

"In My Opinion"

It's been my experience over the years that unless your getting crazy and doing a whole build the prefab boxes will work just fine.

I agree. If you are just getting started, get a prefab box and get everything installed. Hang around here and learn from some of these guys and you just might be building your own custom enclosure in a few months? Welcome to th phorum! 8)
