can you help me build the 8khz passive crossover?
with diagrams and caps..
or is there any active crossover that can cut for the ph35 from 8khz?

Welcome.....

The only thing I would add would be an EQ. I just need the flexibility of tuning to the music I like, and to rid my system of peaks and help in the dips. , Now, that's just me and IF you can find room. Looks good otherwise. I miss the ZR240 I had.

Well since yer using the ol' skool kicker amps, maybe a KQ30 might do the trick......

but i think that with the KQ30 i can only ran one amp..!
you say i should use it for the zr120 and don't use the passive crossover?

why should i do this for????
i was planing to use a 300Amp relay between the 2 bateries, so that no power is going from one baterie to the other when the engine is off...
like the one on the pic

Yes. But what happens when the cabel shorts out to ground when engine is running? This is a relay and not a fuse.

rule #1 is ALL power wires are fused with in 12 inches of the battery so that if it shorts out, it is protected. Only running one fuse would mean if it shorts out that one battery would be protected and the other would then weld itself to the chassis.

I think thats an over-dramatization... it would more than likely start a fire and burn the car to the ground long before it welded its self to the chassis.

Happy Friday everyone.

what do you think the cable is doing, while it catches fire? technically it is welding. You do not want to see the sparks that car fly from 1/0 unfused....

lol - I was agreeing with you... 8) unfortunately I learned what a 1/0 looks like when it touches bare metal the "hard" way ... good times!

ever see what more then one battery can do? I got to do some work on a CTSV(supercharged and nitrous it was a beast) that the shop put a large JL system in it. They had 4 batteries in a rack in the back of the trunk and they were connected with a solid buss bars that stretched the whole way across, 1/2" apart. One of the installers had to disconnect power for one thing or another and took out the wrong screw and when he did the buss bar on top slid down and hit the one on teh bottom. Sparks must have been thrown 6-8ft out of the trunk with a loud pop, and these were not small sparks. It startled me at first until it stopped for just a split second then I was going towards him to help when the 2nd round of sparks started again 8 ft out and LOUD so I jumped back out of the way. The installer that did it had the same basic reaction but somehow managed to get his hand on a portion and steady it, we all stood still for 4 secs after waiting for the 3rd round and could have heard a pin drop there as we were all holding our breath....

Router tables have also been a source of good stories....

ok then i will do so....
are the amperage of the fuses shown in the diagramm ok?
should i use biger or smaller between the bateries?
