I have the one cyclone ready to go. Here is a link to a youtube video that I uploaded with it being hooked up in place of my existing subs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_bHtqLoJo4

your not going to do us or yourself any favors or impress us jamming it above its rated freqs at volume outside of a box. Stick it a box and get ready to be impressed but don' over power them or send them too high of a freq.

Trust me, I know what I did shouldn't have been done. I just wanted to make sure it worked so I hooked it up to what I already had in place to make sure that it did in fact work. It was crossovered way to high. I don't have the box built for it yet. I'm still holding out on the second one to work. this was more of a bench test. I now have that particular cyclone put up and is waiting on everything else to fall in line. My hopes are to have everything done mid July.

I am considering running the PG Ryvel v8001 to my cyclone. Is this a good combination?

My hopes of running two cyclones in my truck may still be a reality. I just picked up another from ebay. When the new one gets here I'll take it sort and clean it. It was used in a home theater system. I'll post pics of it when it arrive and throughout the cleaning process. Hopefully I'll be posting pics of both of them in my truck and a video of them them working on YouTube.

Interesting tutorial. So have you tested the clones? Do they work? Did the their clone arrive? Don't see any pics of that one, how did the cleaning go?

What that ms-275 recapped? I worry that if the caps were not replaced, that's probably the smoke. What did you do with the ms-275? I'd be interested in it if you still have it.

Ryval series from Phoenix Gold is not widely accepted as a Phoenix gold piece. It's from the dark era, when PG was not the best, and ryval was their low end. It is not of the same quality as other PG items from throughout the years.

Someday I'll have a cyclone or two. Every time one pops up for sale it's the wrong time for me.

I still have the ms275. I've actually not taken from my truck since the smoke happening. I've just got the kill switch flipped that ran to that amp. I do now have three cyclones. One is in perfect working order, another is close and the third is for parts since I can't seem to do anything with the magnets and stuff lining back up properly. I hope to actually work on my stuff this weekend. Pics and hopefully a video of two of the Cyclones will be following next week.

Let me know if you want to get rid of that ms-275.

Yea someday I hope to get a cyclone. It's a little discouraging that they require so much maintenance, but it would be great to finally get to hear one.
