Looks like the horn shaped load of the drivers is wider towards the doors and narrows toward the middle, this will keep the stage wider, however the image would be all over from the reflection alone.marko wrote:i bet the stage width is narrow, mids are way in, any further in and they'd be centre channel![]()
that said, awsome install, not too much paint which can over do an install....
Yeah, I would really appreciate to see some installs from the early 90s...444 FED wrote:When I read "older" in teh title I was expecting early '90s. That install isn't that old, the deck is maybe 3 years old at the oldest.
Nice install anyway.
I have about 6 magazine boxes full of stereo mags from late 80's to early 2000's. I was a magazine whore until the internet got so DANG good.Pedi wrote:Yeah, I would really appreciate to see some installs from the early 90s...444 FED wrote:When I read "older" in teh title I was expecting early '90s. Anyone that have any pics from that time?
Yeah so was I had, if memory serves every issue from 1994 to 1997ish of Auto Sound & Security, Car Audio and Electronics, and most of Car sound from the same span, along with a bunch of other magizines. Many issues before that time and many after as well, just not complete years. I then got burnt out by magazines for car audio about 1998 to 1999ish and stopped buying them, it was all the same crap over and over again, with little to no creativity, or they were $100,000+ installs.GlasSman wrote:I have about 6 magazine boxes full of stereo mags from late 80's to early 2000's. That's not the newest f1 deck, its the CDA-7990, the new one is the DVI-9990 and the new one can only be connect to the matching f1 PXI-H990 or DAI-C990 processors and nothing else. In that install the f1 is connect to a TiDeq which would be impossible with the new f1 deck since it has a firewire connection which only the PXI-H990 (or the DAI-C990) acceptsbdubs767 wrote:thats the newest f1 deck
