I've got a couple more things to finish but it won't be happening this winter, maybe next summer. No point in showing off any more of the install right now because it hasn't changed much since the last couple posts in my install thread.

What still needs to be done is installing my TBAt under the dash and running power from the TiDD10 to my deck, CB radio and TBAt.

I also want to build a new amp rack which will basically be a carpeted replacement for the back of my rear seats. That will take a saw and a couple other tools I don't own and can't use where I live anyways.

I'd also love to clean up the wiring a ton but that probably won't happen since all the mess is hidden anyways.

Mine has not changed from the thread, besides that I added a subwoofer grille to the 10" RSD. I also ran 2x12" RSDs for awhile, but removed them for snowboarding season

I have finally been home for X-mas and New-Years eve, and instead of having the time to do some work with my Ampulance - I have been sick all christmas (as my kids also...).

So nothing has changed here either...

here's one if you want to make it a topic go ahead, nothing super special

CUT AND PASTED From elsewhere

In Basic, it is a freebie, so if you see something that is out of place or not 100% perfect, remember the word FREE. Basically it was done after hours with the help of "Woody", a parttime assistant learning the trade.

Special Thanks goes out to JL Audio and Vizualogic for their serious contributions to the project. Let's face it, without the JL Audio gear, it would of been just another Hummer.

Now the project began like this...

Since I did the last DARE vehicle 4 years ago, which won the National Best DARE Vehicle, I seen the PT in action at several events LINK TO IT

I Know that the kids love video games and to be up with the times Esoteric acquired a 42" 1080P LCD monitor, a PS3 with the BluRay remote, A XBOX 360 Elite, and a XBOX HD DVD Drive. Also, I want to add that we added a few extra controllers also.

Now that those things were the main pieces besides the audio system, I had to figure out how to mount it all to handle the abuse of everyday driving and the kiddies. So we welded a frame together to support everything. Since we did not want to cut up the vehicle we only drilled 4 holes in the vehicle floor to provide a secure mount for the frame, and we utilized 4 factory holes on the side for more bolts.

Everything was bolted to the vehicle using number 8 auto grade bolts, along with all the metal frames bolted together.

Monitor was bolted utilizing the #4 screws for the wall mount.

So next came the audio system, it has to be loud and of course clean. JL Audio challenged me to 4 13w1 woofers and 3 sets of 6 1/2" TR Series Components.

The design had to be simple and get to get the most out of it, no painted fiberglass 2 fast and furious look like the PT, this had to be somewhat played down.

The way we set up the mids and highs was to both provide a loading surface for the subs and also to protect the LCD from the bass pounding on it. which is why the fiberglassed enclosures are where they are.

Also there are vents on both sides and the top (the metal mesh) reason being the game controllers and amps generate some serious heat, also the left side is the strobes and police crap and the right side is a monster cobra power inverter.

I do want to say that I was completely blown away by the quality of the sound and the output. for being basic entry level equipment, it sounded better than most home theater systems and not to mention vehicles with higher dollar equipment and more power installed.

Anyways you can al figure it out... If you find anything to complain about please understand that I don't really care. J/K
