My Nissan Install

Post by ELmx479 »

Here is my 05 Frontier install, nothing crazy or custom at all like my old truck. To start here is a pic of the truck, I like to keep it stock. Plain and simple, just put on some BFG A/T's and got the windows tinted.

I wanted a sub/box that would fit behind my center console and still be able to fold down both rear seats if needed. Also something small/light enough I can take out if ever needed the space. Fi Audio SSD10 sealed.

I would prefer to show the amps because they look so good but dont have much of a choice in my truck. Here is the Ti600.2 running the sub.

This last pic is just temporarily untill I find a Ti500.4 to run the Boston's active. The crossovers will be gone and I have a fused PG distribution block to put there also.

Good work there.
Do you have a grill or cover for the Sub ?
Looks like it can kick out some bass !

Thanks guys. Nope, no cover over the sub. I like the look of it the way it is. And yes for just one 10 sealed with 600rms its amazing how this thing sounds for the price. It plays the lows with so much impact you would never believe it was a 10 without looking. I had a single Xmax12 run by a Ti400.2 at one point in my old truck and this FI 10 blows it away.

Only problem I have is my lights dim. My grounds are good and the voltage isn't dropping much. That 600.2 pulls alot of current for a 600.
I don't have any room for a small extra battery either. I love the Ti amps but might pick up a class D amp for the sub and put the Ti away.
