Hey thanks that's cool, yeah certainly is.. Kinda surprising myself.. but I have been making allot of mistakes.. some i can recoup faily well others I can not... like a good example is ... see the picture of the floor & door all carpeted laying on our dinning rioom table, like 8-9 pic's up.. if you look closely you can see that the door it self extends a lil further than the rest of the floor. This is going to cause a problem with the plastic trim/moulding on the rear end of car.. Nothing too too serious.. just gonna have to stuff/push up the floor for that to get/lay even with rear end plastic trim.. or cut the plastic trim a bit of the vehichle's. But the problem is, as I am leaning towards the former (pushing it up to have it even with plastic trim.. I am not sure what's/how's it gonna affect the top part of the floor board where it meets the back part of the back seats. AND I will then have a larger void on the ends of the floor (far right/left) of the floor where it is supposed to bump up with the trim.. SOOO i might have to undo the carpeting there and stuff/glue a lil slip of wood on each side to compensate that difference and re-carpet it. Otherwise, make a new door. Making a new door would be ideal except for the time/effort involved in doing so... b/c I could also fix the fact of the Lexan & U-Channel being too large by an 1/8"... But making that door sucked.. took too long to do that.KHPower wrote:this is looking really good! I sure this is your first?
HERE are some other pic's of the amp just "demoed", with carpeting complete.. and a shot of the threaded rods and how i got them to be secure in the wood with the door.
Thanks Guys!
