while you're working on it; construct some fences as well, to keep the crowds at distance.
maybe a fence like they have in big amusement parks;
FROM THIS POINT, WAITING TIME ONE HOUR...
you're gonna need them.

love the install, but two of the same midranges and tweeters per doors is scary IMO.

It's not an SQ car, it's a show car. Totally different playing field.

I hate show cars, but that looks pretty sick, I really like the trunk idea and layout.

I respect your opinion...but just so you know, I'm just a normal guy off the street, who is paying for everything, I don't own a store...it's my pation...my hobby!!! I'm building a show car because I wanted to prove you don't need to be a store or a company to do so

!!! This project has been 7 years in the making.

Yep!!! I did a taillight conversion to an Acura Integra taillights...but just so you know the conversion was totally done out of metal...no fiberglass.

My dislike of show cars has nothing to do with who or what funded the project, it has to do with the useless nature of showcars. Most show cars either see no street duty or only a few miles per year, just to say "Yeah, I drive it o the street". The over abundance of equipment and the lack of utility usage is another reason I don't like them.
Any vehicle I build, I like to design it for EVERYDAY use, be it an audio car or a performance vehicle, I'm just one of those guys that likes to enjoy my builds EVERYDAY, and can't enjoy a vehicle that sits in a garage for 99.9% of it's (finished) life. I'm one of those that believes a vehicle should be driven, and abused, I also dislike when when I hear stories of guys that have a '60s muscle car that has like 200 miles on it, because it sits in thier garage, and only comes out on Sundays, if there is no wind, no preciptaion, and if the moon is in the proper phase. It's a car, DRIVE THE THING.

This applies to any showcar, not just audio based show cars, I'd rather look at a car that has some K-Mart rash, and dirt on the tires, than one that is perfect because it never see day light.

I like show-cars.
They SHOW what is possible, when you can transform your fantasies into reality, using all your skills, to create them, OTHER THAN PEOPLE WHO ONLY DREAM OF IT.
I owned a car once, completely filled with stereo, except for the space for two front seats; I drove it every day.
At one point, cars appeared on the spl-scene, rolled off from trailers, with no space to sit, let alone they could still be driven.
NOW THAT'S REDICILOUS.
Fill your car with the best looking-sounding install EVER; as long as you enjoy building it, and be able to drive it, YOU'LL BE IN HEAVEN DOING SO.

This is my third time I redo the civic always using PG gear, going crazier each time. But I got to admit this is by far my biggest project that I've started. Yes I call it a show car, but every project that I had before, my civic remained a daily driver!!! Yes a daily driver, I drove my civic to every show I went, when I used to compete IASCA from Manitoba to British Columbia here in Canada and even to 4 IASCA world finals in the US (3x Greenville SC & once to Oklahoma City). To me a show car can still be a daily driver if you chose to. Now I'll be honest this project, won't be driven to work everyday and not on a rainy day either but I sure will drive it to shows and if it rains...so be it!!! My idea behind this project is to prove that an everyday "joe" can built a car so extreme that it can rival with the big guys and there big crazy projects!!! Sure they do it in a fraction of the time that it has taken me to do mine....but they never will have the same sastifaction that I do....knowing that I did it on my own and with the help of friends (hope it make sence)...

Yeah, that's cool, I guess I just like to abuse cars and see them abused.
I used to hang out with a guy that spent something like $45K on his Mustang, mostly performance stuff, though there was a body job and paint to go along with it. He took it to the track once, ran a 12 second pass, and called it good, the combo was definatly capable of a low 11/high 10, he never used the nitrous system, he was scared of the car. I told him, let me drive it.

This guys Dad drove it harder than he did, MUCH harder. It was his Dad saying that it was all a waste of time, yadda yadda yadda, and the dad had the most fun with it, ended up building his own car.
