Hi,

As some may remember I have spent the good part of 2 years to get a my car finished and now the time has come where I can say I'm satisfied and all the major work is finished. Here are some pics of the finished product and I also have install pics (if anyone's interested in them I'll upload them).

Let me know what you think:

Just need to play with the equalizer a bit for the midbass but it is well in line with the rest the speakers. I got an overall 9 out of 10 for imaging in the iasca competition, so the midbass is doing a great job in its location. The midbass are in a 0.4 cu.ft enclosure and the ti5 are in a 0.05 cu.ft sealed enclosure behind the doors. The tweeters are angled 10 degrees into the cabin and all the speakers intergrate extremely well without any spots which seem unfilled.

It took my installer straight 6 hours for one amp to flush on rsd in the mdf board like that, and he can do almost anything with wood. The amount of cursing I had to hear from the guy was unbeliveable when he was making the flush mounts for the amps .

I have my midbasses in the floor too , they work really well , aimed slightly forward and towards where the screen meets the roof, I also get good scores out of it for imaging.

Nice install, love the covered dash.

The alcantara (suede) is really easy to keep clean, if it gets dirty just rub your hands on the marks and they will gradually disappear. However I haven't had any liquid related instances yet so cann't comment.

Well we can hope to meet one day. The rsd amp are very hard to tell apart from the ms series amp I had in my experience. The high end is really detailed and warm like the ms, which I thought might be affected with getting the rsd. The ms amps were just too big and need external cooling so I went with the rsd and took a gamble. But overall i am extremely impressed.

And I knew someone was going to ask for the install pics  so here are some for the moment:

Since the pedals are quite far in, it's not a problem at all. I have not taken the pods out yet thinking that they are getting in my way. Of course it will depend on each car if you can get away with the pods in the footwells.

Can you list your equipment? I saw something in your trunk that I can't remember the name for. It some sort of accessory power distribution thing from PG. I am also curious as what you used for your distribution block to your amps and if you used one to ground as well.

There's also a Powercore on the left, if that's what you were talking about.
