The never ending install nears its end...
The never ending install nears its end...
Well, barring a sub change out, this is it. I am completely satisfied and feel I have reached, perhaps passed just a bit, the point of dimishing returns. My goal of having as much trunk space as possible was met, the polks active sound crazy real, the subs blend well, I have my time delay dialed in, other than at some point buying the IMPRINT kit, Im done.

Feels good dunnit? I too had to pick modesty over the extreme "perfect" install... because you never get it perfect. It's like how I would rather smoke weed than chase the dragon I suppose
What size did you settle on for your sub box? If you want to save even more trunk room, you could build it taller and shallower next time. My old RSD 10 box that Brian made for me takes up about 6" of cargo space depth. Even made a keen little ridge to get over the lip at the back of the trunk.

Man I wish I had a box like that for my RSDC12. Maybe I should just buy an RSDC10

Well, I built the box w/ .68 per chamber, however I have been slowly adding foam bringing my box down to less than .6 per chamber and needs to be smaller yet...stipud wrote:Feels good dunnit?
