I haven't really gotten pictures of my stereo since I installed it a year ago, and I wanted to show off a little, so here it is. A new box and amp rack are gonna be made this summer, so this setup is just temporary. I finally got videos of the sub in action, it finally is breaking in and getting louder. This is on 3 bars of volume on the stock Monsoon deck, watch the spoiler and the edges of the trunk lid I didn't get it to for these videos (didn't let it warm up enough, could've turned it up more), but on Saturday I had the roof flexing behind my sunroof

Just a note, the cell phone in the third video has a full rubber case on the back for grip.

I know the wires need to be cleaned up too, but I'm moving the amp to the other side and putting it into a fiberglass/mdf amp rack, and a new fiberglass/mdf box will be in that corner for the sub, probably 2 ft^3 ported at 38hz with aero ports. The current box is 2.5 ft^3 tuned at roughly 38-39hz. I'm planning on painting the amp black and fixing it, since it's a little dented and I don't feel like paying $60+shipping for an onyx case. Let me know what you guys think

I think you could do much better with that install, but it sounds like you're already well into planning round two. Get those wires tucked away, and put the rubber boots back on the amp (it keeps stray wires from falling into it, which could cause serious damage!).

Next thing you need to do is run another amp with a decent set of components up front! X100.2 and a set of RSD components would be a sweet, cheap setup. You definitely need to factor this in to your next install.

You can't tell from the video, but it actually hits really nice and gets down low too. With the gain turned down a bit (with the LPL knob how-to on here ) it blends pretty well with the stock stereo, which has a stock amp right by the Xenon behind the carpet. I hadn't listened to an AQ before, still haven't other than mine, but it was recommended (along with the amp) by a friend on a different site who owns a shop (he steered me away from a Kicker L7 and a Kicker 750.1).

I put this together just to have it, didn't really know what I was doing with the system at that point. I've been working on tracking down the rubber boots for the top, but haven't had much luck on that. I like the sound of the RSD 5.25" (my brother has them in the same type of car), but the tweeter is a little harsh to me, even on the 0db setting.

ETA: the wires look like a mess because I didn't want to cut anything since it was temporary, which is a good thing since I'm swapping sides with the amp, so I need to redrill a ground on the passenger side for it.
