the moto droid has nothing on this sony. Not evenn close. Did you read any specs? Also the pre will be coming to verizon soon, which will be the best phone verizon will offer imo. The iphone isn't coming to verizon anytime soon aswell. The x10 is the best thing droid has to offer. I still like palms os the best though. Nothing beats palms messaging alerts, and cards system. Simply brilliant. However, I will wait for this.

another nice looking device, but specs still aren't all up to par with the sony droid. Also acer makes crappy laptops, I wouldn't trust it.. Also the screen is half an inch smaller. Either way, it looks like droid is going to take over as far as smart phones go. Google seems to have good things going for them.

At least it's not running WinMo. That's all I can say.

I didnt realize the sony was running a snapdragon as well. That is a decent unit, however it would be better if they didnt pack it full of sony software shit. Im sure you will have to sync it with some stupid ass software that is ridiculous to use.

Good man!

The Dell looks interesting, but like all other "sneak peaks" and what not, I won't hold my breath. Dell has had a hard time coming to market with hand held devices. Maybe this will change the tide for them.

Props to Android for getting out there. If the measuring stick of success is millions and millions and millions of units sold in 30 seconds (as is the current trend, it seems) then Android may take a while to be "successful" but hey, I'm just happy to see Linux being used where it rocks: under the hood.

I know nothing about cell phones would you need a data plan like you need with the blackbeery for this phone?

Android relies heavily on the google cloud, so I cant really imagine using one without. email, contacts, etc are all tied directly to your google account, and I dont think you have any other option..

still love my g1, just hope it gets some donut love..

Yea I dunno I still love my iphone but the droid does seem to do everything that the iphone can't do. Especially their big slogan DROID DOES!

The only reason that I love the iphone is because I have a macbook pro, I have an ipod, I heavily use itunes, and just having the iphone makes everything work so easy. So I dunno, maybe if I didn't have everything already apple, then I would probably want the droid phone. That thing looks sick. But I like the idea of putting a really good camera in a phone because I do go out and party a lot and hate having to bring my camera and my phone. I feel like I will lose one or the other. Have a good camera, good focus, and also FLASH as well. and a bad ass touch screen phone. If it has all that then I am sold.

The Dell is huge.....I wouldn't expect it to do well in this business.....That thing is a brick. They should just stick with computers and servers.....

Hahha true. Might as well just carry a netbook with u. I like screen size as big as the iphone droid or that new ericsson. Nothing bigger. Get some oled displays or something. Like the zunehd. Its so clear.

Yea exactly. I can't wait to continue to see the improvements of cellphone. Then once they come out with the hairline size cellphone that has OLED rubber folding capabilities that would be awesome.
