**UPDATE** Due to another non descript listing on Ebay,Poor seller didnt have the brand name in the auction. small picture and all, I picked up a pair of the ETYMOTIC ER-4P in ear monitors, and a ZAX Digizoid amp for under $150 shipped, I will report back on how they sound, as they are a $330 set of monitors.

Personally I love my ER4's. If you're into quality you'll love them too. If you're a bass head at all you're probably going to hate them. Make sure that you play them with a good strong source. (an iPod is ok but still somewhat weak). A good headphone amp makes the ER4's go a long way. that and a custom set of ear molds done by Westone. See your local audiologist for more information and mention I believe style #34 which should explicitly mention Etymotic ER4. The material you'll want to use is called OtoEase.

exellent, Im definatlly not a bass head, im a detail guy. It is coming with a small amp, I will have to research into how good it is. Looks like it only sells for $49.99, but for what I have into the whole deal I cant complain.

Well, I got totally hosed on that deal on Ebay. The guy claims the auction was to have a reserve and that there was no way he would sell them for my winning bid. He did refund my money, but im a lot bent about sonce winning them I passed on several other auctions for similar ones.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? And Do I have any re-course with Ebay since the seller is refusing to sell me the item I won?

Technically you've got a binding contract with him so yes you can make him sell them if you really want to take it that far.

Yeah, That was my initial comment, the even more fucked thing than that, is I used paypal to pay, pulled the funds via an instant transfer from my bank acct. But on the refund I was sent the funds now arent available until it clears the bank. They basicilly told me that paypal fronts the money on the instant transfers, and since the time of a normal transfer hasnt completed, I have to wait for my refund. This makes it very difficult to spend!

See I always just keep a couple grand in my Paypal account for that reason. Plus I earn like freakin 5% on any money in that account. You won't even find that on most COD's! And the paypal money market is still yet VERY liquid. You just have to watch it cause you can technically lose the money in the paypal account if the market turns.

I assumed it was McDonalds... either that or he's a surgeon or something.

Hontzo MD. Sounds like a daytime ER soap opera to me.
