so i havent ever built a home audio setup.. how hard can it be.. right? anyway.. im wanting to build just a 2 stereo setup. two towers. ive got a pair of sapphire 12's to run low. 4 (2 each) boston 4inch woffers for mids, and boston cft3 tweets to run highs. ive got crossovers that came with the tweets out of a set of a60 bookshelves im hopping will work with the 4's. my biggest question is to crossover the saphhire or let it roll off itself..??

deffinetly crossover the saphire. it was made for a car enviroment that would give it cabin gains and designed to be mated with a LP crossover.

also, are your 4"ers sheilded?

FIRST-
Make sure the amp can handle the ohm load!!!!!!!!

Most of the older stuff can run 4/8 but not the newer gear.
