I've heard a whole setup(front, rear, center and in-wall subs) and it rocked pretty hard. I might not call it THX certified but decent none the less.

damn, you should have came up with the idea for in walls before the last F&F sale! they had them for stooopid cheap. that's still a damn good deal though
as far as the speakers go they are DAMN good. but the thing that really sets them apart over the polks (the only brand i have done in wall side by sides on) is the crossovers . the polks are a 1 resister and 1 capacitor set up. the pg is 2 entire networks (1 for 8 ohm and 1 for 16 ohm and a switch for bi-amping iirc also)
i use those in my garage very very happy with them

.... i think i will go ahead and get them ... there going in a stereo set up for my mom so she can play music at her Christmas party.. Over kill for some Bing Crosby and old 45s but o well.

PG by far has one of the best entry level product on the market! Value, quality and performance.
Mainly the X-over's!
I recommend stuffing the stud bay with inulation. Or you can take it to another level and use Dynamat sound chambers-$90 each.
