Just thought I would post some old pics of my truck before I get ready to do the new install this spring after it gets painted and all the new powertrain goes in.
The old system started with an Alpine CVA-1000 with a changer in the glove box, with TBA-T to an EQ230 into the modified arm rest, then to the AX-406 crossover in the box covered by a empty MS275 heatsink, then split to 3 - MS275's (in the box of the truck) with 2 of them put into one MS-2125 heat sink to look like one amp, from there it split to a set of MB Quart QM160's and 19.02 mids and tweets and then to a Bass Cube in the box again covered by another empty MS-275 heat sink on to 6 - USD Audio 10's behind the seat. The rack in the back is made to look like one long amplifier but is actually 2 amps and 2 covers.
The new install will have a Kenwood 7019 7" touchscreen, MS-2125, MQ-430, PG Bass Cube, PG 20 Farad power block, 2empty MS-275 heat sinks to cover the bass cube and the cap, MB Quart QM series mids and tweets, and 2 Xtant dual voice coil 12's. No EQ's or crossovers just what the screen has to offer it's all about just having fun no more stereo compititions. Everything is being moved inside the cab and will be placed in a custom console between the new lightning bucket seats.

Yeah I striped out two MS275's and modified a MS2125 heat sink I bought from Phoenix Gold back in 1996 for $150 and put both of the MS-275's into one heat sink and then used the left over 275 heatsinks to cover the AX406 x-over and the bass cube. I orginally used the 2125 heat sink to cover a EQ215X that was placed between the two MS275's to make the whole think look like one long amp behind my seat and then you removed the 2125 and it exsposed the EQ that line up with a hole in the back of the seat behind the flip down console so you could adjust the EQ without having to flip the seat forward but that was like 4 installs ago and back in the mid 90's. I use to compete pretty hard core back then when SQ was a big thing then the Rockford symetry system came out and that change everything once you could preset EQ's and at the push of a button you could change your system and no one was none the wiser our they couldn't prove you cheated.
