Actually the Hemi is the quickest. I'm from the big block days before most of your were born and gas was about $.09/litre. That's when the only substitution for cubic inches was more cubic inches. For only 347 cu in (5.7Litre) the Hemi really grunts like the old days.
The Super Coupes are 231 cu.in (3.8 litre) with factory Eaton M-71 superchargers. They have piles of torque, but the cars weigh about 3800 lbs so are challenged off the line. The 5 speeds are quicker than the autos if the driver can work a stick. Some of our club members are doing low to mid 12's in the 1/4 mile, but those cars are highly modified with overdrive pulleys on the blower, exhaust mods, larger fuel pumps, injectors, custom tunes etc.
The 300C would dial in under 14 seconds in the quarter. Pretty decent for a luxobomb. All my cars are generally bone stock. I'm past the "look at me go" era of my life, though shutting down a ricer or a bimmer is fun on occasion.
