So saturday I was like a little kid. Go to PA to get my Tenzos.

Low balled him down to $400 for all 4 with decent tires and put them on the tib. Heading back (and I had already noticed that the roads in PA are shit) I slam into a pothole and am then treated to the distant sound of hissing.

Down goes the tire, rim bent like a friggin banana

Tire is ok, the rim is bent so bad that the tire isnt making contact around the edges so I have sent it to a subaru tech friend of mine to be repaired.

He said it happens to brand new STI's all the time so hes confident he can sort it out. But what a fuckin bummer eh? lol

hmm. Well if the rim cant be sorted (Im pretty sure it can, I mean it wasnt that bad I only lost 5 psi all the way home so Im pretty sure the tire can be sealed against the rim) then Ill look into that.

The tire has a mark on it, but it is staying up thankfully as it was one of the better ones lol.. Im waiting on the dude from subaru to lmk what the prognosis is. I hope I aint cracked it lol.

Rims are around $200 each, so even if I have to get another one Im in $600. Theyre $1100 with tires pretty much everywhere..

I like em, theyre even lighter than my 15's too.
