I read about this the other day and went out and found a can. Apparently people have been doing this for a long time. I have never heard of this before. Here is a website that gives you instructions and this guy actually Plasti Dipped his entire Audi....TWICE!! If this works I'm going to do the mirrors, door handles and probably the bezel on the front of the FJ.
It looks like cool stuff!

I know some guys on my mustang forum seem nuts about it but I really don't get it. Its nothing more then a satin black that you can take off later and is not that durable of a finish.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Not too bad! I can see redoing them in the summer when it is warmer. I don't think I waited long enough before peeling away the excess because of the temps outside. I am still deciding on if I should remove the black in between the Toyota emblem.
