classic mercedes cars have been loved through the years in U.S, as most of the cars driving here in holland, are surviving cars from the U.S!
I repair and restore them, as long as they are from the 50's and 60's.
here's one, [right, down] that is amazing to drive today, [300SL roadster].imagine what a sensation it must have been in 1965, it was capable to do 250km/h.
first ever car with direct fuel injection, 60 degrees tilted [BIG] 3-litre engine with dry-sump oil system [245BPH],tubular frame, and other things, taken from their racing cars at that time.If you remove the engine and axles, you can lift it up by two men.
when you put your foot down, above 3200rpm, it roars like a monster.
and even if it's parked somewhere, it draws a crowd.
I'm happy not to own it, since the prices of spare parts are REDICILOUS.
better maintaining them, and then start it up, for a good TESTRIDE!

just do the same..
thanks guys, for the comment, and helping me out with some little language things.
English isn't that hard for us over here, since we are getting english, french, and german taught at school, but there is a HUGE difference in be able to communicate, and understand it all....
hey Tom; nothing is, what it looks like, basically, don't idealize what I've done with car-audio, racingbikes, restoring classic merc's[, and my wife, who's a model.]
just do what you WANT to do most, and GO for it!!
the rest.... is pure luck! [in my case].
I won't tell you about the side-effects [especially from having a model as a wife], because you may choose to marry a less beautifull woman afterwards... and I wish you ALL such sweet woman I have!!
[NO, I'm not posting pics from her, just PG, remember?]
GOOD LUCK!
