Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) delivers a more powerful 2010 Shelby GT500 increased to 540 horsepower, torque increased to 510 foot-pounds, downforce increased and drag reduced
New gearbox enhancements, plus a standard 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, mean the 2010 Shelby GT500 will deliver improved acceleration performance, while providing better highway fuel efficiency

Looks like it's straight out of a cartoon...
I mean, sure the specs are impressive... I just don't dig the cartoonishness of it.

Oh btw, 2011 is when all the mustangs get a serious power boost. That should be interesting.. But since you wanted to bring up chevy, lets just say fit to finish, gm has absolutely nothing on the new stangs. Brushed aluminum on the dash anyone? the quality of materials have definately gone up. As for the power, like mentioned, 2011

But hey, 540hp and 0-60 in 4 seconds for under 50k is nothing to sneeze at.

All i have to say is , IM SO GLAD PHOENIX GOLD DIDNT FALL INTO THE TYPICAL AMERICAN PHILOSOPHY OF MAKING ITEMS THAT DONT LAST", I cant recall the last time i saw an American car from 1990 that still runs as it did brand new-just my 2 cents

The curves, the color/finish, the plasticness of the body panels. I'm not suggesting that everyone should see it the same way I do, but that car looks like it was DRIFTUUUUUUU'ed straight out of cartoon about hardcore asian-looking white dudes and their bad ass cars and into real life, to me.

i dont know-had camaros in the 80 into early 90s( thats when i was late teens into earl;y twenties-they are still great, but once i tasted awd on off ramps at80-90 mph, that was it-2002 audi A4 quattro-(101k, still feels like it did the day i bought it)i think after rwd thats why i switched to awd, but maybe when i turn 50(midlife crisis) thatll change again-

Oh it doesnt hurt me no one likes it, just poking some fun

Hard to beat that performance for the price though. I need to see it in person before I make the full decision on its looks, so far though, I think it looks better than the old one. I am glad the quality of the materials are going up. Got rid of that dam plastic on the dash for aluminum.

I think it looks alright, especially for the price. My sister in law has a BMW 540I M series, a friend of mine has a CTS, and another buddy of mine has an Acura tl type S? I think thats right. Out of the three the Beemer just plain out classes the caddy in all aspects. The Acura is a very nice driver and actually, money wise would be my choice. The Caddy rides and handles like a tank compared to the other two. The Beemer on the other hand, every time I get to drive it or even sit in it I get a semi on. Theres an Audi down the road from me and I would love to take it out for a day but thats just wishful thinking.
The only Mustang in my book is the 66 fastback. The oldman had one back in the day and had to sell it because he had kids

I like to remind him now and then to give him a good ribbing
