Some pics of what is known here as "de bloemencorso". Once every year around the end of April there's this parade made of flowers, with a lot of showbands in between.

I'm surprised we don't have something similar here in Vancouver. The growing climate is very similar... we get a lot of flowers that don't grow anywhere else in Canada.
