DA CRANES!!

Post by mr tibbs »

Today on the way home I noticed a small flock of the biggest damn geese I had ever seen! After further examination I realized that they weren't geese but actually cranes!! After a few more flocks left the main flock I finally found the field they were coming from. There must have been at least 200 of them!! That's a hell of a lot of sandhill cranes for these parts. I was lucky enough to snap a few pics before they all left for greener pastures.

we had great blue herrons all over az. Sure they are big but I had no idea how big. One day I took a toke, and then took the dog for a walk. She was sniffing at the botton of a 15 ft light pole for a few seconds when I heard something above me making a good bit of noise. When I looked up it was a great blue that was sitting on the lights that was taking off. I FUKIN THOUGHT IT WAS A TERRADACTILE COMMING DOWN ON ME AND ALMOST HIT THE DECK. Those birds are huge....
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

At least you know how to take a good picture and use a lense with a filter on facebook it seems everybody with a 10mp point and shoot is doing "professional" photography, I was joking with my friend who is a professional and told him I am gonna start a shop up with my canon sd1200is and call it Breathless productions, kind of a joke on my lung problems.
Nice pics there.
Check my buyer/seller ratings http://phoenixphorum.com/gridracer-vt4548.html

I have more PG stuff than one guy ever needs.

we were out today and I saw a decent woodpecker up in the trees.... 200 is way too short. I want to justify a 70-200 with 2x TC and I think I just did. But the K-5 has prio first :D
