Glacier National Park

Post by mr tibbs »

The wife and I just got back from a 7 day trip to Glacier National Park. The park was AMAZING!! Around every corner was a stunning scene that just begged for a photo to be taken. If you have not been to Glacier I HIGHLY recommend it! Here are a few quick photos from the trip.

Simply beautiful, last night I had an "out of body experience" (may be the fractured ankle helped a bit) and for a few minutes I could think of any place I would like to be and BOOM I was there. So by looking at these beautiful pics hopefully on my next experience I will be somewhere near those pics.

Thanks Mr. Tibbs , you just provided me with some awesome screensavers.... 8)
Hope to visit the States one day again, maybe when the boys are a bit older; especially the eldest [ 11 years old now] is crazy about nature.

Only time I visited the U.S was about 14 years ago, with my boss. We visited some parks like Brice, Grand Canyon, Redwood forest and such.
It was a pretty exhausting week, as we wanted to see it all but underestimated that your country is so much bigger than ours....

Maybe it's time to dig up those old pics and post them just for old time's sake.
For now your pics bring back memories of my trip back then, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words Nico! Over the past few years the wife and I have tried to do a National Park vacation and a different vacation. The problem we are running into lately is that we find ourselves wanting to visit new parks, but at the same time going back to the ones we have already visited to explore the park more! Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Glacier are on the top of our list to revisit. I guess we will just have to start taking more vacations per year!!
