Elite 9m as a midrange driver.

Post by masonsjeep »

Is it possible to use the 9m driver as a midrange in a 2 way system using the TI Elite crossover.

The spec sheet on the 9m says a frequency response of between 40hz - 15khz.

Any ideas.??

If it sounded good, PG would have done it already. I found the 9M's weren't great above 1kHz. I guess you can try experimenting... but I doubt it will sound good, especially with the factory crossover.

Bigger plans for the doors may be needed then. Marko also said not above 1 khz.

So unless anyone has tried it back to plan A.

You could try the Morel factory xover, if they are close to the 9" mid and tweet component set they sell together then one of these may work.
