Hello, does anyone here have a pic of a zpa board pulled are at least with the heat sinks off. I traded a few rc cars for some stuff tonight off cl and one was a zpa .3 and he had said it had a dead channel...turns out the rca bracket that holds them is gone so the leads pulled apart. I soldered the mess back together to test it and it runs without fail...now there is a questionable switch down by the rddp loop input (that the case is broke by too) where a peice of speaker wire soldered to the board that looks like a switch that broke...it was taped and held stuck to the side of the board. I dont see anything resembling a switch on any pics I've found, but none show the board. Looked at amp guts and it is an 0.5 in both series of pics.
Now about the mod thing...since I've got it apart anyhow I may as well do....guidance or just a guide fellas...what do you guys think of the amp modded? Will take some pics tomorrow to post
Was it just the switch for the plexi interlock that got bypassed after it broke maybe? If that circuit is still in place, is it a ver #2 with the floating ground/fixed ground switch removed/never installed?
If not one of those I'm all out of ideas... sitting at my desk is hard to do.

You know what...there is no such switch on the plex frame that I saw so that must be what it is....I havnt been looking at that area of the amps as I was focusing on that side of the board...thanks a lot...I'll have another look at the ampguts .5 and see if I can see it but I'll bet that that is what it is....
it is broke but the actual actuator and metal plate are there so it looks like a button or something was on it. shows some signs of having been broke on the back side of the switch to but has been soldered. However, it was taped down so that the switch was activated so it may still function...if not a new switch ought to be fairly easy....if that is what it is I'll call pg tomorrow...meaning to over another issue to...b stock pppllleeeaaaasssseeeee..
