Ti 1000.2 at 2ohms
I was checking to see if an titanium 1000.2 amp will have almost the same power ass an tantrum 1200.1 if i ran it at 2 ohms because i might be picking one up soon let me know thanks
I believe the tantrum will still be more power. According to the manual the Ti will be 500 X 2 at 2 ohms.

The tantrum is rated at 1400 X 1.

they close enough that I am willing to bet you woudlnt be able to hear the difference.
also t1200.1 has issues at 2 ohms, only use it at 4 ohms, I wouldn't use the ti1000.2 @ 2 ohms birdged either.
Leads to another note, use the t1200.1 for you bassline, your eltrical system will love you for it.

Not to sound like a broken record but I ran a 12d elite with a ti1000.2 at 1 ohm at a point and it had a massive draw...be ready because it is gonna want some serious power from your electrical system.AVICJR wrote:Good point, the Ti1000.2 will draw a lot of current from your electrical system. You will definitely have to do a few upgrades to accommodate it.Leads to another note, use the t1200.1 for you bass line, your electrical system will love you for it.
