Did PG make a ZX200v2?

Post by Eric D »

I have a ZX250v2, and had a ZX200 a few years back, but was wondering if PG ever made a ZX200v2, or when they switched to the newer v2 amps they just dropped the whole ZX200 altogether?

the V2 amps came in the 250, 450, 500 series to correct some minor issues I thought.

This picture from a CL listing suggests that PG did make a v.2

ive had a v1 I think I sent it to bfowler yea I did he got a couple of other things of mine he bought. The v1 doesnt have a xover or rddp port or lpl port jus terminals, gain, and I think a bass knob. now by the pics I see it the zx200v2 has extra knob maybe freq knob and either an lpl or rddp port im sure its a lpl port. a little pointless to have a rddp port on such a small amp.

The difference in missing features is not from V1 to V2, it is model related.

The ZX200 has no features
The ZX250 has LPL, RDDP, and a crossover

Apparently both amps were made in a V1 and V2 version. The V2 uses a more reliable fan, and I believe the fan control circuit is different.
