ok cool, thanks for the great tips so far guys!
Last question....well for now hehe...
I'm running the 300.4, and gonna be using it for both front and rear.
Do i need to rewire the speakers, or can i use the factory speaker wires?
I hear lots of people yes, you need it...while others say you won't notice a difference. (and I already tried the search function on here too)
-thanks

Yes u would wanna upgrade the wire and Im sure the vets will agree with me on this. it will help the resistance of the wire so it easier for the watts "to flow" through the wire so the amp doesnt have to struggle to push the watts. It will help the sound but probally not to the "normal human ear" wont hear the difference but an rta would pick up the difference. Plus the wire wont run hot/warm due to the wattage going through it. Im sure there are other reasons which others will state. But i worded this an easier understanding of it. But read up on OHMS LAW and you will see the light young paddawan.LOL. But UPGRADE it!b It can be a pain if done right (going through door conduit) sometimes but its one less thing to worry about and its a cheap upgrade. hope this helps man.

yeah, it will work if you splice into the factory wiring. but i think its worth upgrading. plus i like to leave as much stock stuff alone as possble so if i ever decide to sell the vehicle it can return it to factory

hey guys, thanks for sharing all the information so far. very informative.
now a couple of questions. For the rear speakers...is there anything I can do (besides grill) to protect them from the sun?
The grills that come with camry's have a tendency to crack with a lot of sun exposure, so i feel like buying another pair is a waste of money
can the phoenix gold RSD's withstand the sun? uv treated or whatever?
