I just got this amp for free and I hooked it up and it keeps blowing the first 2 fuses any ideas?

if a fuse just pops like that there are generally power supply issues. If you have a power supply try to power it with a very light load and see whats up...like 5 amp and watch to see where it is shorting

The fuses that are popping are 20 amp. There the ones in the amp. There are four and two keep popping

take the cover off and take a look for anything that looks wrong. Swollen caps, blackened componants or parts of the circuit board ect....

I bought a new XS2500 for my cousin from my favorite shop and it was sent back to PG 3 times for the same power supply problems when it happened the 4th time he tossed it in the saskatchewan river in Saskatoon

I had a xs2300 that was blowing fuses and it was the mosfets.
We don't need no stinkin' bass boost!
