charging a kenetic/batcap/etc...

basically can it be done?
meaning if i have kenetic, batcap or the any of the like... and the reading on them from no use about 1-2 months reads any where from 9-12vdc... can/should it be charged, like traditionally charged, ya know like with battery charger before use or being installed???

According to the info I received with my Kenetik it says that it should be fully charged before use.
It recomends an automatic charger that is designed for AGM batteries.
And not to exceed 14.4 volts.
