I will find a good wood glue... Any you do recommend? Just in case when I go to Lowes or something I have an idea of what I should get.

I am excited to get my first box done. And have it properly tuned too! That will be the cool part.

So far from my specs I have it at 28hz but when I put the woofer in I believe that that will bump it up to 29hz via the displacement of .16 cu ft. Hopefully.
You are not going to really notice much difference in tuning between 28 and 29 hz. With the Icon having a pronounced bottom end, it will be at home in lower tuned boxes then average compared to others with out noticeable loss in output, though others will get by on smaller enclosures. Plus I always prefer to be on the low end of the tuning spectrum for daily driving, the flatter the response the better IMO (keeping cabin gain in mind).

I use screws to help keep the enclosure in place while the glue dries. As for glue, this has always worked very well for me:

Hope that helps.

How big is the port? The Icons love large diameter ports.

As for glue, my shop buys bulk from Metra, not really sure of the brand.

Anyway, read here for some quick ideas on Glue

Quick read, and will really help you on the build.
