...refurbing and recaping one of my shrouded MS2250´s 8) This baby looks like off the assembly line again now

sweeet!! what value caps did you use?
Ti1 headunit (unique)
Outlaw in crate.
2x original shrouded ms2250's.
Route 66 in box + custom m100 to match.
Roadster 66 in flight case
Octane LE in box.
Reactor #186 in flight case.
Reactor EQ232
Ti400.2 AL
AX204A + EQ232 + ZPX2 + TBA set
ZCS6 component set
Tantrum+Titanium bass cubes
Ti12d Elite sub
DD5 + DD10 + 6 Ti blocks!

For the big suckers i used brandnew OEM ones that have been tested for capacity prior to installing them. I managed to get arround 20 of them. The smaller ones are the ones i bought from Digikey last year. Value is 16Volts and 5200μF

I used the shroud i got from u, after i polished it and replaced the screws to hold the amp down with gold plated ones.

Sorry about the Heatsink thing. Forgot all about that! Need to get the third MS2250 first to see in what condition it is. It´s still sitting in customs.

joerg, what size screws holds the amp in place? i need 4 but i think they are imperial size and i only have metric v :?

They are imperial indeed. I just took a tapper for metric 5 screws, a cordless drill and voila 8) no more looking for impossible to get screws in europe. :roll:
