I've never seen a Frank up close. Do they also have these multi colour metal flakes?

I deassembled the shroud today. I´ve got an apointment in a metal shop tomorrow. Will post some pics for the not so fainthearted tomorrow as well

make sure to post lotso pic's of the creation of the franken shroud!! also is the shroud going to be powder coated frank style...? man I cant wait to see this completed!

The grid on both sides will get gold plated. The shroud´s internals will get powdercoated in a nice black and the outside will most likely get franked

That is lookin great!!! just curious how heavy that MOFO is? keep up the good work, I can"t wait to see this installed in a vehicle.

Total weight is 17,5kg without the shroud.

For now i´m using franked endplates from mhyde71. But i´m tracking down a source that maybe has a few originals aviable.
