Why 2v specifically? If it's for early M and MS amps they can handle higher input voltages. Most headunits are overrated anyways... I find 4v units on average put out 2v rms.

Brand pref..................?

When you say med-high.......$300-$600.........

I guess it depends on what you want the HU to do.....ie. iPod/zune hook-up, bluetooth, USB yada yada yada...........

I like the Kenwood Fowler has in his dash. Think he paid $200 for it and has plenty of goodies......
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

x3 for the Kenwood Excelon line. Feature packed and great price.

If money were no object I would get the Eclipse 7200 MK2. Copper chassis and built for high end use.

Just installed a KDC-X693 in my ride. Love it, great feature set, great sound. Menu's are a bit clunky, all in all for the price and function I give it 10/10.
