ohm's law and power output

Post by todd217 »

since every thing i have heard about the m44 says it will do about 75w/ch @ 4ohms. now if i use ohms law i get about 300w bridged. is the m44 really this stout of an amp?

Yes and no.

You can adjust the gains for 300W bridged and the amp will likely do it with music. Test tones is another story. With a test tone the output voltage will drop off significantly.

No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.

Don't even know what Ohm's law is...
