Deck and 2 ; what would you do?

Post by Audiophiliac »

For a basic HU with ipod hookup, and a decent, efficient pair of 6 1/2" for the doors, what would you choose? It does not have to be brand new. I will likely scour the classifieds and/or craigslist/ebay and find some good used stuff for dirt cheap. I just need something to get me by. No tunes in the VW since I bought it last summer!!! I am getting it put back together and "refreshed" so I can sell it this summer/fall, but cannot go through nice weather with no tunes!

ryvals sound really nice!

i even have some, but they are 6.5 comps.

they dont have the midbass of say, rsd's but they are really enjoyable sounding overall
my ex-girlfriend said "its car audio or me"
i've had tougher choices at a soda machine...

i can vouch for the sound of ryval's, my buddy just put a comp set in his truck on a r752 or something like that(ryval 2 channel equivalent to xs2300) and they sound considerably better than the boston's he took out. for the money he spent on them i was very suprised.
We don't need no stinkin' bass boost!
