Which amp to use for Ti Elites.

Post by gbody805 »

Ok did some searching and didn't really find a complete answer.
Maybe I didn't word the search right.

Ok here goes.
I have a set of the 6.5 ti elite comp speakers. I also have a set of the 9" elites to go with them.

Which would be a better choice for the 6.5s?
A Xenon 200.4 bridged, a zxti600 , a Ti1000.2?

Also what should I be on the look out for to run the 9" elites?

Any thoughts would help very much.

i would say the ti600.2

they have neo magnets that get HOTT and demagnetize. running more then 200watts to them is just waste and will lead to premature magnet failure :( i had to buy a new set of mids for my set.

the xenon fronts of the 200.4 would be fine and then you could run ti9's of the rear channels

Thank you.
I wasn't sure if I had to run what was advertised as RMS or could get away with a little less.

200.4 run the 6/1 of the front channels passive and the 9s of the rear channels active

x3 on using the X200.4. It was pretty much made for that setup! Its crossover functionality will be perfect.

x4 for the X200.4

That was my first thought.

No. The 600.2 would be a good match for them. I was giving mine 225 per side and no issues.
