Post by Abstract85 »

HY!

I´m from Austria! Sorry my english is realy bad!

I have the Phoenix Gold Xenon x1200.1 amp and i kill many subs whit this!

2 Atomic Quantum 10D2, 2 Boston Sub 10", 3 JL Audio 8",...

can you say me what the best sub for this amp!

can you say me the data from this amp?

what is the max. performance of this amp?

what is the performance of 4 ohm, or 2 ohm?

Please help me, i need a new sub and without you help a can not buy a new sub!

the sub has to go a allrounder, play techno, house,... but also hip hop!

Thank you!!!

That amp is a monster...............hands down.

Yer killing woofers because you don't have it set correctly in the first place. And you'll continue to do so unless you take care of that. It'll produce the same power at 1ohm as it does 4ohm so yer good there. But to be honest, this provides plenty of power for 12's and 15's
Those tender little burgers with them little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in ya mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one.. just makes me want to burn this muthafuka down.... Come on, Pookie, let's burn this muthafuka down!!!

Here is the manual for the amp:

As stated, you're probably frying woofers because the amp is clipping and clipping kills woofers.

Agreed, I've had mine on 2 RSD 12's for about 2 years now and haven't blown them...

I´ve been chating with our new member quite a while now and his problems seem to be caused by a way to big enclosure and too low frequencies. I´m not too familar with the Xenon line but will do my best to get rid of his issues! 8)

"Me fail English? That's unpossible."

If you're going to take the time and make a post to bash someone's amp, you think maybe you could take the time to put together a legitimate sentence? I don't know about you, but I wouldn't take advice about something technical from someone who doesn't know proper english. I mean, obviously writing isn't your strong point so what makes me believe car audio knowledge is?

I agree that the 1200.1 is a monster as I'm currently running 2 XMAX 12's v1 off of mine and it hits like a raped ape.
