I have a question about Pioneer AVH head units. (not GPS)

Post by Xarpolis »

So I have a new Pioneer AVH-P3200BT installed in my car.

I used the relay trick to allow the video on the screen to play whenever I want, but I really only ever use it while parked. I just don't like to get distracted.

Anywho, lately, my screen hasn't been playing the video in a DVD. I recently brought a different DVD out to my car, and it played just fine the first day or two, but no dice since then.

It's strange. The DVD audio is there the whole time, but the video doesn't show. The AVH unit stays on the default background, with an overlay for chapter, title, menu and all of the DVD options.

Have any of you had a similar problem of not getting a picture on your DVD? I'd love to figure this out, but it's stumping me.

All of the systems options appear to be on. No idea what else to do.

I think you just press the hide button...

What type of bypass did you use? 12v relay? I just put mine on a button...have had no problem with it

Where is the Hide button? I must have pressed it, and I can't seem to find where it is since then.
