So I will show you my small collection

My MS1K Nickel and DD5 are away at me.
Just as the car of my wife and my little old car with the installation.

No they were painted by the original owner and he did an awful job he painted the sides of the case on one of them and there is runs all over it to the point where there is golbs of paint on the bottom of the case. The paint he used doesn't match at all he used a flat white instead of a gloss in person they don't look really great I will be stripping the paint this week as I need them to match the others.Pedi wrote:@Gridracer: The two 100s with white cooling fins, are they painted by you, or are they originally white from PG?
The sinks however look like they are in great shape I hope the shitty paint job isn't hiding something. The guy I got them from lied about them he said they were never used only put in for a photoshoot in his car but one look and you can see they were used the screws have too much wear on them and the rca's have marks from cables being put on and off plus he drilled a hole in the case to mount it instead of using the proper hole beside the power terminals I guess he thought it was too close, I will fix the hole by welding it in and re powdercoat it when I get my oven built I have everything else to do it just waiting for oven parts to show up. I also have a guy here to redo the artwork on the amps and it will look original.
The guy I got the amps from is a member on this forum too. He has a route 66 that he wants refurbished, apparently he painted these white to match it. One of them was a decent price the other was expensive but the artwork and white paint is definately better, still wrong white though. They came from Ontario so at least there was no duty or tax on them though.
Check my buyer/seller ratings http://phoenixphorum.com/gridracer-vt4548.html
I have more PG stuff than one guy ever needs.
