The car is a CTS-V and it has the Bose Navigation system in it. While decent for a stock system, it is a nightmare to upgrade or do anything to because the radio is part of the ECU databus.
I'm just looking to install an amp(1200.1) and sub(Ti12) while retaining the stock amp and 10" sub for higher frequencies. I don't know how to do this without the old messy cut/splice/solder method. Do they have wire taps or some kind of painless connection I could use to get a signal to the line-out converter I bought?
Also if you were doing this would you tap the signal before or after the stock amp?
