Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
what are you wanting to know other then it is only good on extremly low notes? Does solving for the area under the graph or the tangent line of a certain point tell us something more?
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
I do not understand the question. Frequency characteristics are essential information for the speakers. They are starting to design filters and others.

Nobody has this information ?
Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
I am not sure how a graph will help at all but here is the manual for the cyclone

Gridracer - Thank you for trying. I have read this document. It is the only document with any information. Looking for something more.....
Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
I have never used the graph to make a cross over, normally just use the manf specs for them or do what sounds good. I thought they needed a high slope x-over around 50 hz?

Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
If you need to do box calculations the data is:
Qts: 1.92
Fs: 31.5
Vas: 11.3
Qms: 2.75
Qes: 6.38
Thats all you need to do box calc on the driver...
Any graph wont help you before you enter the values in a box cacutation program... or do the math yourself...
That is the data Car Stereo Review measured the cyclone in their tests.
Thats because PG never released any parameters on this unit other than recomended box size...
They aslo require a minimum of 18dB/oct crossoverslope below 50Hz

Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
I'm not sure how a response curve would help much either.
Surely the enclosure/box and it's interaction with the vehicle will change the response so much as to make any "test-bench" figures virtually meaningless?
Build the box, put it in the car, and measure it yourself

Re: cyclone frequency response - graph
i tried to graph it based on those specs, but i dont think base box can model a non standard type sub since it doesnt really have "excursion"
