Re: DANS BLACK w/ RED FLAKE
I thought a horse shoe facing to the side meant 7 yrs bad luck? No wait I am sure I confused that with something...
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Re: DANS BLACK w/ RED FLAKE
Horse shoes are filled with luck, tilted to the side like that the luck will spill out a bit, if it's upside down all the luck will come out of it.ttocs wrote:I thought a horse shoe facing to the side meant 7 yrs bad luck? No wait I am sure I confused that with something...

Re: DANS BLACK w/ RED FLAKE
That red looks so cool!
Re: DANS BLACK w/ RED FLAKE
that is a cool look
What material are you using for your decals? I assume they are safe through the baking phase and ok in high temps? I want to make a decal for my valve covers and just not sure what material is ok.

I thought the standard vinyl would shink/melt in high temp. It must have been tony that sent it as I do not remember it.

Re: DANS BLACK w/ RED FLAKE
OKAY so we're coming along here...
its really utterly amozing of just how long and thought goes into these projects... now with a number of these projects under my belt... i have better idea of all whats involved... and prolly been underbidding a bit... but i feel good about it as its for phorum brutha's!
All thats needed left to do is boil the terminals black... and drop in buss bars and black terminals
So the scope of this project was that dan simply sent me a board... i had an original 2250 sink that he wanted clamp bars instead... so i drilled/tapped the 6-32 screw holes for clamp bars... coated and installed.
bad ass amp
SOOOOO sorry that the pics just do it any justice!
but it gets you about half way of realizing how good it looks i guess.
I tried all lighting and angel scenerios... but to no avail- the flake that is there just doesnt pop like it does in person...but oh well- dan will appreciate it once he gets it in his hands....im sure of that!
