ti 15 farad powercore questions...

first thing is i have a ti 15 farad powercore that's making a clicking noise upon getting power to it.....and the clicking continues as long as the power is to it.....is there an easy fix for this or is valeks1 the fast solution? second,i have another ti 15 farad powercore and it powers up fine....except the l.e.d. on the top of the "l.e.d. pyramid" doesn't brighten to it's full potential....is there just a need to replace the l.e.d.? or there something more difficult wrong with it? thanks to all for any help you provide....b.

B - Unfortunately PG (Valeks) doesn't do repair work on the Power Core's anymore as I noticed this in his repair price list, as for the constant clicking, this happens when the core first gets power from the remote turn on to charge the cell. Take the cover off and look at all your connections and the cap cell itself to make sure it's not splitting from a cap issue (This is a known problem with the PC15) . The other 1 with the LED may just be a bad 1 and try and replace it and see if it does the same thing.
Don't know much more about them, but Dave W. is really knowledgable in them as well as Valeks , so shoot them a PM and see if they have anything for you to look at / try, later Bro.

b....valeks said he would fix whatever was wrong for me....but if it was the cap that he could even get that....so he told me to send it to him if I want to...he'd take care of it...or try to for me.......so if I can't figure it out i'll prolly try that.....thanks for the help.

I got to get these worked on.....at least the one....it's pretty mint! The other one I can change out the whole led set up...i still got that 3rd one that I fucked up the metal connection on the cap it's self.....so those l.e.d.s. Work perfect on that one...i guess having one you can take parts from is a good thing,lol.

Yeah Matt bought some new capacitor cores from Alumapro for about $150 a pop when ours were split.

Sounds like your problem is the relay maybe?

I have no idea......but like I said I have one that I can use for spare parts where everything is nice and clean except the cap core......so maybe i'll try to change it (the relay) out with another one I have......or maybe just take the core out of one and replace the core I broke.
